When it comes to beauty products, we have a soft spot for indie makers and cute packaging. Ryan Dubs is a self-proclaimed brand king and creative director to the stars (think Kylie Cosmetics and James Charles’ Sisters apparel), who took his creativity and passion for marketing to create his own beauty line, Dew of the Gods. This Canadian co is proudly vegan and LGTB owned and every item is blessed by a Buddhist monk to promote mindfulness! We tried the entire collection and are sharing our first impressions with you—plus giving you a chance to win! —Vicki Duong
frozé lip scrub. Who doesn’t love a glass of frozé on the lips? Made with sugar, strawberry oil and other lip hydrators, the Frozé lip scrub gets your peckers in tip-top shape without being abrasive. One of the superstar ingredients is shea butter, which works to repair lips no matter how chapped they get. Cheers to this lippy scrub that actually smells like our favourite sweet frozen bevvy!
hyablend glow oil serum. When it comes to skin care, Dew of the Gods knows that it all starts with a good base. The Hyablend serum features two skin stars, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide; the former . holds up to 1000 times times it weight in moisture while the latter combats texture and boosts collagen.
claydate mud mask. What is more Instagram friendly than a pink clay mud mask (answer: nothing)? Claydate is infused with rosehip oil, aloe, coconut oil and hyaluronic acid to help heal and tone skin, while pink sea clay allows for smooth and creamy application. Although other clay masks can be drying while drawing out impurities, Claydate remains hydrating even when hardening. Need another reason to love Claydate? It smells just like birthday cake!
glacier water thermal spray. Indulge, repair and rebuild your skin with a spritz of Glacier Water. Made with a blend of glacial water from Iceland, witch hazel and vitamin C, this aerosol spray is the perfect way to wake tired and dehydrated skin, with each spray deeply penetrating the dermis with softening and brightening ingredients.
frozé body scrub. Think of the Frozé body scrub as the lip scrub’s big sister; it features a delicious strawberry scent but, instead of sugar, uses sea salt for a more invigorating cleanse (perfect for those who self tan and need a bit more exfoliation). Not only do we love that it’s gentle enough to use on our face, but that we get to skip the hangover!
dreamquake body scrub. Sometimes our day gets away from us and we end up showering in the evening to unwind. Prior to trying Dreamquake it never occurred to us to use different bath products to help promote relaxation, but once we tried this lavender body scrub we were hooked. It uses epsom salt for a more gentle exfoliation while lavender oil promotes a sense of rest.
tangod. We love a full package set and Dew of the God delivers with the TanGod bundle. Ideal for those who don’t want to give up their summer glow, the bundle comes with a tanning oil, enriched with banana essence to promote a healthy bronze, and an after-sun lotion, to renourish sun-kissed skin.
