Watch the videos, and even try their Caesars if you want—but you can only vote for one! To give you a sneak peak into how tough that decision will be, here’s an overview of these 10 amazing Caesars from the West Coast to the East. Note: voting closes on August 4, so cast your vote today!

Coast to Coast Caesar – Cowichan Bay. Open since 2012, the Cow Café has always supported local and carried that through to their winning Caesar which is topped with local scallops, a lobster tail, house-made pickled beans and more!

Emperor’s Tea Caesar – Sylvan Lake. Reigning Canadian Caesar champion Kjeryn Dakin from Bukwildz impressed the judges again this year with her Emperor’s Tea Caesar recipe, which features white tea from the emperor’s private mountain garden with red pepper paste, mandarin, turmeric, basil, a secret black licorice root and much more!

The Suffering Caesar – Airdrie. Sorso Lounge, the most popular local eatery in Airdrie, tapped their star bartender, London Richard, to create The Suffering Caesar, which includes pineapple rum, fermented black garlic and mango nectar with a bone marrow ice cube and torched nutmeg as a garnish. A feast for the eyes and palate!

Firestone Nashville Caesar – Lethbridge. Firestone Restaurant and Bar in Lethbridge has sold more than 100K of their Caesars since opening and since it’s their best-selling cocktail, they’re confident their Firestone Nashville Caesar is the Best Caesar in Town featuring homemade sauces, a pickled bean and a Nashville cream cheese-stuffed pepperoncini.

The English Breakfast Caesar – Regina. With inspiration drawn from traditional English high tea, Avenue Restaurant created a Caesar worthy of a crown that features ginger juice, brown sauce, Pimms and tea, and is served with English sandwiches.

The Mighty Memphis Caesar – Winnipeg. Silver Heights, which opened in 1957 and is known as the “Cheers” of Winnipeg, created the Mighty Memphis Caesar featuring their famous BBQ sauce with prime rib as garnish and more (fun fact: they’ve sold more than 306K Caesars since opening!)

Hot Spring Caesar – Winnipeg. Served with house-made hot sauce and topped with an authentic donair, The Kings Head is tipping their hat to the East Coast for this tasty inspiration.

Le Shogun Caesar – Montreal. As a tribute to Japanese culture, Bar Le Jockey has created The Shogun, a Caesar that features authentic flavours such as cucumber, nori sheets, marinated ginger and a special sauce.

Coast to Coast Caesar – Collingwood. As the only Ontario bar on this list, 1858 Caesar Bar features their own gluten-free vodka and Caesar elixir along with a smoky barbecue and seafood sauce, topped with Alberta Beef, PEI lobster, Quebec cheese and more.

The Holy Trinity – Charlottetown. Seafood lovers unite! The Cork & Cast brought their East Coast roots to the table with a Caesar that boasts a Cajun spiced rimmer, with a secret sauce that celebrates the Cajun flavours of onions, bell pepper and celery and it’s topped with a lobster roll and smoked salmon garnish.

With more than 400 million Mott’s Clamato Caesars consumed in 2020, Mott’s is giving back to the industry even further by donating $1 from every bottle of Mott’s Clamato sold to the Bartenders Benevolent Fund up to $50K. From now until August 4, you can visit mottsclamato.ca/bestcaesar to vote for your favourite bar or restaurant. —Vita Daily
